Our team has extensive experience working within homeowners' budgets to renovate and/or expand their living spaces. Dwell can handle all exterior improvements including roofing, siding, painting, gutters, windows/doors, decks, and more. Within the home, we can transform the entire interior as well as individual spaces like kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and basements.  

Commercial Construction

Dwell offers a full range of construction services for commercial and multifamily clients. We handle a variety of exterior improvements including, roofing, siding, gutter, and window/door replacements, asphalt seal coat and striping, as well as property paints. We also construct and repair decks, fences, and concrete walkways. Our services also extend to property interiors, where we have experience renovating apartments, leasing offices, fitness centers, tenant spaces and more.

    Owners

     Drew and Adam Vennemeyer are lifelong Central Ohio residents with a passion for the construction industry. Each worked in their father’s Central Ohio architecture firm early in their careers. Both brothers continued in the construction field with Adam specializing in residential services and Drew focusing on commercial construction. Together, the two of them bring decades of construction excellence.

    After graduating from The Ohio State University, Drew began his career in the industry working for an architecture firm for more than a decade. During that time Drew achieved his Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accreditation. Nearly fifteen years ago, he shifted from architecture to construction and has served as president of two large, multi-office commercial construction companies. His goal has always been to own his own construction business and that’s been realized in Dwell Construction.

    Skilled Laborer:

    We’re looking for candidates who are capable of carrying out many different skilled labor tasks with minimal supervision. We’d also prefer candidates who have previous experience in a similar role or those who have completed an apprenticeship and/or equivalent education. If you think that you would be a good fit for this position, please fill out your contact information and attach your resume to begin the application process.

    Responsibilities:

    • Utilize a variety of hand and power tools
    • Complete many different construction tasks when needed to support timely delivery of our projects
    • Coordinate work of trade contractors
    • Schedule inspections
    • Interaction with clients while onsite
    • Follow all local, state, and federal health and safety standards

    Skilled Laborer Requirements:

    • High school diploma or similar
    • Previous experience or the completion of a relevant apprenticeship is preferred
    • Ability to use a wide variety of tools and knowledge of general construction practices
    • Capable of working well with minimal supervision
    • Willingness to learn and be part of a growing team
